Lauren Visits DisneyLand Paris

Disneyland Paris is undoubtedly a place that all Disney fans need to visit for a couple of days.

My journey started with getting the Eurostar from London St Pancras; I must say this was the easiest method of transport I have used – only needing to be there 45 minutes before departure, bigger and better seating plus Wi-Fi on their new trains made it a thoroughly pleasant journey! When the announcement from Donald Duck announced that we were arriving into Marne Le Valle, the magic began! I would highly recommend the Disney Express, which means that the staff take your luggage and you can go straight into the park and start to enjoy the rides – and once you check-in at your hotel your luggage will be there waiting!

If you want to stay as close to the two parks as possible, stay at the Disneyland Hotel itself! It is right in the middle of the park but if you want to go for a more cost effective alternative you could stay at the New York Hotel or the Newport Bay which are now both 4 stars with themed spacious rooms. If you were going at Christmas I would recommend the Sequoia Lodge which has the largest fireplace in Europe!

My first night consisted of a banquet at Buffalo Bills, and if you have got a child 3that loves cowboys then it’s a show not to be missed – with a 3-course meal included and a competitive atmosphere the characters put on a great show!

From snowing down main-street and enjoying the frozen sing-a-long, the Christmas parade my favourite experience at Disneyland – the parade is carried out throughout the Disneyland Park with all the characters- (including Santa Claus) singing and dancing and putting on a spectacular show for everyone! By night, you can watch the Disney Dreams!

Disneyland Paris are excited to announce that it is there 25th Anniversary which means only one thing – even more rides, even more parades and even more MAGIC! The 25th Anniversary begins on 26th March 2017 where the park hours are extended as the magic is too!

HINT! Remember to pre-book your restaurants especially if you are dining with the characters and I would recommend to do at least Half Board Plus!

HINT! If you want to include both Fireworks and Christmas – come 10th November.

HINT! Pre-book your Disneyland Paris day tickets – you can save up to 40%
