Destination Overview
Mexico is a great all round destination, offering something for everyone. Cancun is great for people seeking a beach holiday with luxury hotels, and offers a great range of amenities and activities including all of your shopping, relaxing and thrill seeking needs. Playa del Carmen and it’s neighboring town, Playacar, have a smaller resort feel with restaurants and bars as well as the exquisite sandy beaches.

Culture
Mexico has a very diverse culture because it has had many influences over the years. For those interested in history, it’s very easy to head to the Mayan ruins in Tulem as well as Yucatan, where one of the 7 wonders of world is, Chichen Itza.

Cuisine
Thanks to its pre-Hispanic and Spanish influences, Mexican food blends together more than 20 centuries of tradition; bringing the flavours of two continents together results in some truly delicious dishes.

Beaches
Mexico offers three of the top 20 beaches in the world, as voted by tripadvisor users – so you know you’re in for a treat when you first glimpse at the white sands of Mexican beaches. The warm water in Mexico is great for Snorkeling and diving because the waters are so clear – making it fantastically easy to see the stunning sea life. You can also enjoy surfing on big waves, as well as sailing on the calm waters; or if you prefer, you can kick back and relax on the sun lounger watching from the comfort of the white sandy shores.

Activities
Mexico is great for people who like to keep active on their holiday; make the most of the natural surroundings by trekking through the jungle, or heading to the eco park of Xcaret, where you can witness spectacular waterfalls, explore canyons, or rappel down a steep cliff. Others may want take a leisurely horse ride down the beach; whatever you want to do, Mexico has it all.
