SELFLESS SUPERSTARS

We appreciate the exceptional work of our local carers who dedicate their time and energy to providing vital care and support to vulnerable people in our community.

Many carers put their life on hold to care for others and don’t often get the recognition or credit they deserve. Carers – both paid and unpaid – play an essential role in our community and we believe their selfless work needs to be recognised, particularly after the challenges many of them have faced with the pandemic. That’s why we’re giving these ones the opportunity to WIN a holiday for the chance of a well-deserved break.

Do you care for someone in our community or know of someone that does? Are you in the Fenland or South Holland area? Whether you’re a young carer (under 18) or an adult carer, we want to hear from you! Fill in the form below to nominate yourself or someone else for the chance to win this fantastic giveaway. Anyone under the age of 18 must not enter this competition or disclose to us any personal information without permission from a parent or guardian.

We’re working alongside the Wisbech Standard and the Spalding Voice to share your stories with the local community. Entries may be selected to be published by these papers.

If you’re an adult carer, enter for the chance of winning a 7 night, all-inclusive holiday to Spain for 2 adults*

If you’re a carer under 18, enter for the chance of winning a 3-night break to Disneyland Paris for 2 adults and 1 child**

Entries will be judged, and winners will be selected. There is one prize to be won for carers in the Fenland area, and one prize to be won for carers in the South Holland area.

Entries close 28th February 2022.

COMPETITION TERMS & CONDITIONS

  1. To enter the competition we require all fields of the entry form to be completed. By entering the competition, you confirm that all information submitted by you is true, current and complete.
  2. Entrants must have permission from the person they’re nominating to provide their full name within the submission.
  3. If you are entering this competition and you are under the age of 18, permission from a parent or guardian must be obtained.
  4. If submitting a photo as part of the entry, the photo needs to be owned by the entrant and must have the consent from all parties pictured, in order to be entered. If the image is not owned by the entrant, permission needs to be granted by the owner and all parties pictured, in order to submit the image as part of the entry for this competition.
  5. Entries received after the closing date will not be entered for the competition. We hold no responsibility for incorrect, incomplete, lost or delayed entries.
  6. Entries will be judged, and winners will be selected & notified via their nominator. Where we are unable to contact a winner within a reasonable period, or the prize cannot be taken up or is declined, a substitute winner may be chosen, and the original winner will cease to be eligible for the prize. A substitute prize of similar or greater value may be given should any prize become unavailable for any reason beyond our control. Prizes are not transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Any prize winner will be bound by the terms and conditions attached to the prize.
  7. Entries may be selected to be published by Holiday With Us, the Wisbech Standard and/or the Spalding Voice. By entering, the entrant and the nominee agrees to having his/her name and their nomination entry (description and photo if applicable) published by Holiday With Us (on their social media and website), the Wisbech Standard and/or the Spalding Voice. Your contact details will be shared with the paper most local to you, who will contact you directly prior to publishing.
  8. The closing date for entry will be 28th February 2022. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
  9. We reserve the right to cancel the competition or amend the rules at any time without prior notice. Holiday With Us will not be liable for any circumstances beyond their reasonable control which prevent or delay the completion of the competition, or the award of any prize, or for any winner’s inability to take up the prize.
  10. Any personal data provided in the entry form will be used in accordance with UK data protection legislation and our privacy policy. We will not disclose your personal data to a third party without your prior consent except as provided in the terms of this competition.
  11. By submitting the entry form you are agreeing to these terms.
