Hotel Capotaormina - Sicily

One of our four star Sicily hotels, this property enjoys a secluded seafront location on its own headland with its own private beach.

ROOMS

This is a larger modern hotel with 190 spacious rooms which are very attractively presented with either a balcony or a terrace.  Classic rooms look over the gardens, but the Superior rooms enjoy a sea view and have a bath.  Common amenities include air-conditioning, a hairdryer, satellite TV and a mini-bar.  The Capotaormina also offers Junior suites and suites.

LIVING

Tucked away on its own headland under the old town of Taormina, this four star Sicily holiday hotel is almost surrounded by the sea below.  There are three different restaurants – one for breakfast, one for half board guests and a third for à la carte dining. 

The lower level of the hotel is accessed by lift where the private beach is hiding with sunbeds, umbrellas and towels, there is a snack bar too.  Here comes a surprise!  There is a tunnel from here which goes under the headland to a lovely seawater pool set in the rocks with terraces and sunbeds.  In summer months there is a bar too. 

Catania airport is about 1 hour away.

LOCATION

Taormina Mare is down at sea level below the old town. Views of the Bay of Naxos. Hotel shuttle to the old town.
