Built at the beginning of the twentieth century, the Rosedon Hotel is an endearingly handsome colonial inn with a wonderfully elegant, Edwardian atmosphere, centrally located just a few minutes’ walk from Front Street. Quaint, quiet and relaxed are the adjectives that most suit this boutique style hotel which enjoys an enviable reputation for its friendly and attentive service and a high ratio of guests who return year after year.

There may be just 30 members of staff but on average they’ve each been at the Rosedon for 20 years, and the feeling one gets is of an extended and dedicated family working very happily together. Heading the team is Muriel Richardson, one of the island’s most coveted hotel managers who is always on hand to ensure every guest enjoys the very best service.

Surrounded by lush tropical gardens this small hotel has just 39 guest rooms, all individually decorated with a delightful combination of traditional English style and typical Bermudian flair.

Facilities at this delightful property include an outdoor heated swimming pool and complimentary shuttle service for the ten minute ride to a South Shore Beach.

A la carte luncheon is served poolside and picnic lunches and light evening meals are available on request. Time-honoured afternoon teas and weekly swizzle parties add to the heritage as well as an old-fashioned honour bar and self-service honour pantry.

Spend a day exploring the lush 36 acre Botanical Gardens, the Masterworks Museum of Bermuda Art which boasts more than 1,200 pieces of art, plus Camden House, the official residence of Bermuda’s Premier.
